Our Story
Noah’s Table was built on family, hard work, and a love for bringing people together through great food.
We’re Noah and Stef Scanland, a husband-and-wife team based in Bosque Farms, New Mexico. In 2021, we took a leap of faith and launched Noah’s Table with a simple goal: create unforgettable dining experiences while serving our community.
Unlike many chefs, Noah didn’t come from a traditional culinary school background. He is largely self-taught, learning from two of his biggest influences—his parents. Growing up, meals were made from scratch, spices were blended by hand, and gathering around the table was a way of life. Those early experiences shaped his cooking philosophy and continue to inspire every menu we create today.
Before becoming a full-time chef, Noah worked in the security industry and spent time in a few restaurant kitchens, developing his skills and refining his craft. What started as a passion quickly grew into a business, and today he has been cooking full-time for more than four years.
At Noah’s Table, we do things differently. We bring our mobile kitchen directly to your event and prepare food fresh on-site, creating an interactive private chef experience your guests won’t forget. From intimate dinners and weddings to corporate events and large celebrations, every menu is customized to fit your vision.
Behind the scenes, Stef manages client relations, marketing, social media, business development, and day-to-day operations. Together, we work to ensure every event feels personal, seamless, and memorable from the first inquiry to the final bite.
Our family has always been a part of this journey. Our oldest son spent years serving as Noah’s right-hand man in the kitchen, learning the business alongside us and helping at events whenever he could. While he’s now away at college pursuing his own dreams, he still jumps back into the kitchen and helps whenever he’s home.
When our son left for college, another family member stepped in to help keep things running smoothly. Stef’s sister joined the team, working alongside Chef Noah in the kitchen and helping with event setup. Having learned her way around the kitchen from the same family traditions that shaped us, she has become an invaluable part of Noah’s Table. Her support reminds us daily what it means to be a true family business.
The reality is that Noah’s Table is the definition of a small business. When help is needed, the people we love step up. Whether it's family pitching in behind the scenes, helping prepare meals, setting up events, or lending a hand wherever needed, we are incredibly grateful for the support that has helped us grow and continue doing what we love.
Over the years, we’ve been honored to serve clients across New Mexico and have been recognized as a Top 5 Best Caterer by Albuquerque The Magazine for three consecutive years. While we’re proud of those accomplishments, what means the most to us are the relationships we’ve built and the memories we’ve helped create.
